Dr. Mary Pravdin received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, her Medical degree from USC School of Medicine in Los Angeles and her specialization training from Kaiser Medical Center in San Francisco. She has conducted research in Reproductive Endocrinology and presented her findings at several medical conferences. Dr Pravdin, has extensive experience in high risk Obstetrics and advanced fertility treatment. She is well known for her warmth, compassion and outstanding bedside manners. Dr Pravdin is fluent in Russian and also speaks some French and Spanish.
Dr Nasta received her Medical degree from Brown University and her specialization training from Children’s Hospita l- Los Angeles. Following her training, she spent close to a year in India where she among other projects, founded the HIV/AIDS Holistic Treatment & Care Initiative in Mumbai, a Clinton Foundation program. Upon her return to the US, Dr Nasta worked at the Children's Hospital Oakland for several years. She eventually joined the well known GetzWell Pediatric practice in San Francisco where she provided personalized and holistic Pediatric health care by combining Western medicine with complementary and alternative healing modalities. She has additional training in functional and integrative medicine and has completed the Institute of Functional Medicine’s core curriculum and Food as Medicine course. Dr Nasta embraces a truly holistic approach in the care of children. She is fluent in Hindi and Spanish. Dr. Nasta lives on the Peninsula with her husband and two little children.
BEVERLY RICHARDSON, FNP
Beverly Richardson, FNP, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner specialized in Women's Health. She recieved her MSN from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing. Prior to joining us, she has had experience with OB care and fertility treatment at Stanford and PAMF. She also has extensive experience as a childbirth educator and labor coach. She lives with her husband and two children in Fremont. Beverly's practice is open for new patients, annual exams, infertility consults, prenatal visits, and new OB visits.
MALU RYDFORS, L.Ac
Malu Rydfors has a Master's of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in San Jose, CA. She also holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. She is licensed as an acupuncturist, herbalist and primary care giver by both the State Board of California and the National Certification Commission of Alternative & Oriental Medicine. Malu takes a holistic and integrative approach to health and works in concert with Western medical practitioners to provide comprehensive care to her patients. SHERIDAN ROSS, IBCLC (Lactation Consultant)
Sheridan Ross is a skilled and compassionate lactation consultant who provides counseling, education and support to moms at every stage. Sheridan received her education from UC San Diego and Health e-Learning’s Breast-Ed Series from Australia. She is a member of ILCA (International Lactation Consultants Association), USLCA (United States Lactation Consultants Association), and BALA (Bay Area Lactation Association).
Sheridan was mentored by respected 20-year industry veteran Sheila Janakos at Healthy Horizon's Breastfeeding Center in Burlingame and became board certified in 2009. In addition to providing services at Healthy Horizons, Sheridan has worked as a lactation consultant in the Family Birth Center at Mills-Peninsula Hospital and regularly teaches breastfeeding classes and assists with support groups. Sheridan's commitment to infant health and wellbeing extends to her additional roles as a labor doula, certified massage therapist with a focus on prenatal massage, and as a certified instructor of infant massage.
